Winter in Holland XXXVIIby ~Gemaskerde-Muchacho

Winter in Holland.
A winter like this is in the Netherlands very unusual.
The last time that it was exactly the same was in 1985.

Yes we had more years of snow in between but with this winter is is very special because the snow is really on every leaf and tree. Everything is white and that because it was very wet before this snow felled down.

The landscapes near the river the Rhine are amazing.
There was frozen fog and the sun was coming true.
It was around -7 degrades and at the evening the meter peaked at -13 degrades what is for Holland standards very very cold.

I went with my dad to all beautiful places like Culemborg and Wijk bij Duurstede.
My dad's a physicist teacher at the university so he knows everything about the weather.

Just enjoy the photo's.
I only took the daze away from the photo's but i almost did non adjustments. It was just amazing to see the sun trough the fog and the snow....

Ja, de zon scheen er schitterend op, letterlijk en figuurlijk

..
Het was een gelukje dat deze zwaan in het wak zwom, hij was me eerst niet eens opgevallen, de omgeving was zo mooi dat het me aan het begin niet eens opviel..
